Modified-release tablets, 20 mg + 20 mgComposition per 1 tablet:
Doxylamine hydrobutartrate — 20 mg
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) — 20 mg
Release form: Round-shaped, film-coated, modified-release tablets.
There are 10 tablets in a blister.
There are 20 tablets in a cardboard pack.
Pharmacological action:
The drug has an antiemetic effect due to a combination of:
Doxylamine (antihistamine component) — blocks H1-histamine receptors, has a sedative effectPyridoxine (B6) — reduces nausea, participates in amino acid metabolism
The modified release ensures a gradual intake of active substances and a long-lasting effect.Indications for use:
Nausea and vomiting in pregnant women (including severe form — hyperemesis gravidarum), when diet, dietary changes and uncorrectable factors have no effect.
Dosage regimen (typical): It is prescribed only by a doctor
Usually - 1 tablet at night, if necessary — additionally in the morning and afternoon (under the supervision of a doctor)Contraindications: Individual intolerance to the components
Severe liver/kidney dysfunction
Children's age
Simultaneous administration of MAO inhibitors
Side effects: Drowsiness, decreased concentration
Dry mouth, constipation
Dizziness
Storage conditions:
At a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children
