Phosphatidylcholine is the main structural component of cell membranes, including the membranes of hepatocytes (liver cells). Medication:
Restores and stabilizes the structure and function of liver cell membranes.
Promotes regeneration of hepatocytes.
Normalizes protein and lipid metabolism.
Reduces fat infiltration and slows down the development of liver fibrosis.
Reduces toxic effects on the liver, including alcohol, drugs and other xenobiotics.
Pharmacokinetics:
When administered intramuscularly, phosphatidylcholine is well absorbed and enters the systemic circulation, where it binds to high-density lipoproteins (HDL). It selectively accumulates in the liver, where it is incorporated into cell membranes.
Indications for use
Fatty liver disease (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
Chronic hepatitis of various etiologies.
Toxic liver damage (including those caused by medications).
Cirrhosis of the liver (as part of complex therapy).
Prevention of gallstone disease recurrence.
Method of administration and dosage
