What it is used for

Vitamin B12, neostigmine methylsulfate, sodium chondroitin sulfate and chlorpheniramine maleate are present at the maximum concentration allowed by the Japanese OTC ophthalmic approval standards. Other ingredients include sodium hyaluronate, benzalkonium chloride, chlorobutanol, boric acid, d-borneol, l-menthol and pH/isotonicity agents.

How to use

Instil 1–3 drops at a time, 5–6 times a day.

• Do not let the dropper tip touch the eye, eyelids or lashes — contamination can cloud the solution.
• Do not use while wearing soft contact lenses; remove them first.
• Do not use the solution if it is cloudy.
• Overuse can cause abnormal glare and may increase redness.
• Children should use it only under adult supervision.
• For ophthalmic use only. Do not share the bottle with others.

Possible side effects

Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if these appear: skin rash, redness or itching; eye redness, itching, swelling or stinging pain. Also stop and seek advice if blurred vision does not improve, or if symptoms have not improved after 5–6 days of use.

Storage

Keep tightly closed in a cool place away from direct sunlight — not in a car or near heating appliances, since heat can deform the bottle and degrade the solution. Keep out of reach of children. Do not transfer to another container and do not share the bottle. Do not use after the expiry date and use promptly after opening. Red crystals around the dropper tip are the colour of vitamin B12 and can be wiped off with clean gauze.
