Dayvigo is indicated for the treatment of insomnia (不眠症治療薬). Lemborexant blocks the action of orexin, a substance in the brain that promotes wakefulness, which helps a person fall asleep faster and sleep longer. How to use

According to the approved labeling, lemborexant is taken orally once per night, immediately before going to bed, at least 7 hours before the planned time of waking. The dose and duration of treatment are determined by the treating physician. Do not take a second dose during the same night, do not combine it with alcohol, and avoid taking it with or immediately after a heavy meal. Follow your doctor's instructions and the package leaflet.

Possible side effects

The most common side effect is daytime sleepiness or drowsiness. Headache and unusually vivid dreams can also occur. Rarely, medicines of this class may cause complex sleep behaviors, such as getting out of bed while not fully awake (for example, sleepwalking) with no memory of the event.
