Sediel 10 mg by Sumitomo Pharma is a serotonergic anxiolytic (5-HT1A receptor agonist) used in Japan for anxiety-related symptoms. It is a prescription medicine intended for use under medical supervision. Each box contains 100 tablets (10 sheets × 10).
Tandospirone is a non-benzodiazepine anxiolytic that acts on serotonin 5-HT1A receptors. In Japan it is prescribed to relieve anxiety, tension and stress-related symptoms (generalized anxiety disorder, anxiety conditions in somatic illness). The medicine does not have the muscle-relaxant and dependence-forming profile typical of benzodiazepines.
Use strictly as prescribed by your physician. According to the Japanese label, adults commonly take 10 mg three times a day after meals; the physician may adjust the dose depending on age and symptoms.
Common side effects may include nausea, stomach discomfort, dizziness, drowsiness and headache. Seek medical attention immediately for rare but serious reactions, including serotonin syndrome (agitation, fever, rapid heartbeat, muscle twitching), especially when combined with other serotonergic medicines.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture, out of reach of children.
