7. Pharmacological properties:
7.1. Pharmacodynamics:
Testosterone is the main male sex hormone. When applied transdermally, it is absorbed through the skin, enters the systemic bloodstream and compensates for the deficiency of endogenous testosterone. The effects are similar to injectable forms, but with a more physiological daily absorption profile. Promotes:
Normalization of libido and erectile function.
Improve mood, energy, and cognitive function.
Increase in muscle mass and strength.
Strengthening of bone tissue.
Stimulation of facial and body hair growth (in the presence of receptors).
7.2. Pharmacokinetics:
Absorption through the skin depends on the area of application, skin condition and dose. The peak plasma concentration is reached a few hours after application. With daily use, a stable testosterone concentration is maintained for 24 hours. It is metabolized in the liver and excreted by the kidneys.
8. Indications for use:
For dosage forms: Hormone replacement therapy in adult men with diagnosed symptomatic testosterone deficiency (hypogonadism), confirmed by laboratory.

10. Method of administration and dosage:

Local: Itching, burning, erythema, acne at the site of application.
Systemic (in case of overdose or high absorption): Acne, seborrhea, alopecia, gynecomastia, fluid retention, aggressiveness, sleep disorders, polycythemia (increased hematocrit), suppression of spermatogenesis.
In contact with a woman / child: virilization, hirsutism.

A doctor's check is required: blood testosterone levels, PSA, lipid profile, hematocrit, liver parameters.
Before starting therapy and periodically during it, an examination of the prostate gland is necessary.
Avoid combined use with alcohol.

13. Overdose:
