Description

Structum 500 mg contains chondroitin (in the form of acid sulfate), which complements the treatment of joints subject to degenerative changes.

Composition

The active substance of Structum is acidic chondroitin sulfate.

1 capsule contains 500 mg of acidic chondroitin sulfate.

Excipients: talc, gelatin, titanium dioxide (E 171), indigotine.

Dosage

Structum drug is available by prescription it should be used as recommended by your doctor.

Structum capsules are used orally. swallow them whole with enough water. Usually take 1 to 2 capsules per day. Structum for joints is designed for adults.

Action

Structum capsules has chondroitin sulfate in the composition - it is a building element of joints-bones and cartilage, so that some of the building blocks of the joint have the corresponding properties-elasticity and mechanical resistance. This component additionally inhibits the activity of lytic enzymes in cartilage and enhances the synthesis of proteoglycans.

Indications

Structum capsules 500 mg is used as an additional treatment element for osteoarthritis.

Contraindications

Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other components of this medicine.

Side effects

The use of Structum may be associated with the occurrence of side effects but not everyone has them.

The most common side effects are (very common; 1 in 10 people): diarrhea, dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain.

Infrequently (1 in 100 patients) skin changes occur, such as hives, pruritus, rash; sometimes also swelling of the face.

Rarely (1 in 1000) there is: vomiting, angioedema, erythema.

Use of the drug in children and adolescents

Structum is intended for people over 18 years of age.
