Kagocel (kagocel) 12 mg tablets, 30 tablets per pack, manufactured by Nearmedic Pharma Plus (Russia). An antiviral interferon inducer used in adults and children from 3 years of age, as directed by a doctor. Each pack contains 30 tablets.
Kagocel is used for the prevention and treatment of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) in adults and children from 3 years of age. In adults (18+) it is also used in the treatment of herpes. The active substance induces the body's own production of late alpha- and beta-interferons, which have antiviral activity.
Take orally, with or without food, exactly as directed by your physician. Adults, treatment of influenza and ARVI: 2 tablets 3 times a day on days 1-2, then 1 tablet 3 times a day on days 3-4 (18 tablets per course). Adults, herpes: 2 tablets 3 times a day for 5 days (30 tablets per course). Adults, prevention: 2 tablets once a day for 2 days, then a 5-day break, and repeat the cycle. Children 3-6 years: 1 tablet twice a day on days 1-2, then 1 tablet once a day on days 3-4. Children 6-18 years: 1 tablet 3 times a day on days 1-2, then 1 tablet twice a day on days 3-4. Do not exceed the maximum recommended daily dose.
Possible reactions include gastrointestinal effects (nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain) and skin reactions (rash, urticaria, itching, angioedema); their frequency is not known from the available data. If any reaction worsens, stop the medicine and consult your doctor.
Store at a temperature not above 25 degrees C in the original sealed package, protected from moisture and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack.
